ah, but htat's where you miss the very point. It is not a weapon, it is a creature. And Dagger nor Short Sword neither have affinity for anything, as they are lower class weapons, costing less.
Actually, 1.27 gives Dagger 1 more damage if you have a Death/Darkness mark. So it's just down to Short Sword after this update.

Well I hope they keep at least something neutral in the  :rainbow zone.

Okay, how about this for a twist as a passive ability?

Mechanic - Immune to Poison

Especially now that Mitosis is coming up, I'm going against Other creatures harder than before. Nova + Fractal already makes the card a bit overpowered, and with Mitosis... ugh...

Let's just leave 'other' element with basic weapons/shields and some rare cards only.

It wouldn't make sense that a mechanic creature that is immune to venom, could not be duplicated by mitosis. Perhaps the creature should be rephrased instead:

Robot Warrior / Robot Soldier

Construct: Immune to Infect, Basilisk Blood and Mitosis.

If the construct idea would go trough, then it could go to all of the flying weapons (they're definately not organic), and possibly to that Steam Machine, altough I'm not sure if there is something inside it that's steering it or if it's really a true robotic construct.

Let's just leave 'other' element with basic weapons/shields and some rare cards only. And MTG should have no colorless cards and Patchx and Bloodshadow cannot suggest Other creatures that have large drawbacks.

Let's not do that. Steel Golems are technically unmitosisable if we do, and they are technically made out of... well, steel.

How about giving it a drawback instead? "Absorb 1 :rainbow per turn" perhaps (maybe 2 or 3 even)? That way you can't use mitosis without running the risk of losing too much quanta.

Well it would make sense to me that mitosis wouldn't work on them, they're golems afterall. What's organic in them? And the name of the passive skill WOULD be construct. Last I checked, Golems still were under definition of construct.

Maybe an upkeep of 1 :rainbow would be tolerable, but I really shouldn't see the poin't why the pkeep in deemed necessary.

The last time I checked, Golems could still asexually reproduce.

I suggested the upkeep as a way to prevent players from abusing Mitosis since there has been oppostion against Other creatures.

2|1 stats are worth 2 elemental quanta value
2|1 --> 4|3 stats is an upgrade of 2.1 elemental quanta value
Normal upgrade cost reduction is -1.5 elemental quanta value
Total Upgrade cost adjustment is .6 elemental quanta value
So the casting cost should be 2|2.6 elemental quanta value
(11/7) + (10/7) [Elemental Quanta] = [Other Quanta]
2|2.6 elemental quanta value = 4.4|5.2 other quanta value
Cost base on stats and not including potential added ability is 4 :rainbow|5 :rainbow

Please change the casting cost to 4 :rainbow|5 :rainbow.

Compare:
Quantum Pillar + 3 Quantum Soldiers vs Fire Pillar + 3 Ash Eaters
I see your point but if i was playing fire itd be better to use the ash eaters. Also your losing two random quanta meaning your losing control of your quanta spent. the cards not really that unbalanced imo.

My point was that this card makes Other rush faster than Fire.
The general theory of other cards is that since they are powered by a x3 pillar they need to cost more than elemental quanta. See above for conversion equation.

My point was that this card makes Other rush faster than Fire.

I dont think thats true. What else could "other" do with six 2/1s. I dont really view that as a rush deck. and as soon as you add another element then the fact that this card costs random qaunta would imped your ability to be consistently fast.

Further more its a 2/1 creature. its not exactly super threatening. then moving up to the upgrade card its further debilitating to quanta consistency.
