It still doesn't give you the right to rip them off. Elements is different enough that you shouldn't have to rip off another game, a card can be based off an idea from there but it'd still need to be different enough. (as in more than a different name, different cost, and a slightly varied ability.) The unupgraded card is the same as pulse of the tangle except costs 2 more but quantums are more abundant then mana

i've never seen the set that this card came from. i stopped playing magic when i got to college five years ago. i didn't rip them off, and i'm not going to cross reference every one of my ideas against every mtg card just to make sure i'm being original.

have you seen the "the simpsons already did it" south park episode?
