NOTES:
"Today everything seems to come together"

"A well coordinated strategy is your best hope for victory today."

The first of a possible series based around the idea of 'marking' cards in player's decks and hands. The mark will not actually be visible, but is merely a way of implementing an additional effect that can trigger other actions for cards that interact with this mechanic. The mark would only be revealed when / if it triggers an appropriate card.

In this case, it allows the player to cause their creatures (or their opponent's creatures) to automatically gain 'gravity pull' when they are played.

If there are no copies of this card in play when a marked creature is played, then nothing will happen (e.g. it is THIS permanent that actually applies gravity pull, the marking is just used to tell it when to do so).

Spoiler for purpose of adding mark mechanics:
Having a mark mechanic can add some potentially potent delayed action effects to the game, and could also provide a means of implementing 'traps' or traplike mechanics.
While the opposing player would know the nature of the trap (since they can read the text on the permanent that is enacting the mark mechanic) they would have no idea which of their cards will end up triggering it.
Additionally, since mark mechanics could be either helpful or harmful to the player that draws a marked card, this could add some unique layers of strategy to the game.

this card has similiar weaknesses to trident and discord, while not being anywhere near as impactful and even slower. These cards are only actually powerfull when drawn early, later on their effects hardly matter (and to ensure you draw them early you put in almost as many copies as you would of just eq (here: gravity pull)). This card is even more drawdependent as it marks your deck rather than hand, making it extremely drawdependent and slow. Unupped will probably attempt to do similiar things like "its a trap", Armaggio or chimera, but presumably be inferior to all of them. It's a shame that the "alter your deck"-cards are so hard to make worthwhile in reasonably fast paced cardgames.
A way to make the card much stronger (so strong it needs a cost increase despite its weak state) is to instantly draw that card (or at least putting it on top of the deck), making it a tutoring card for high hp creatures with the double edged sword (that will often be an upside) of giving them gp.

Now upped is a bit different. Obviously you expect it to be used on the opponent at least occasionally, else it wouldnt be worse for use on self than the unupped. It has the same speed issues as unupped and your opponent can choose to play multiple marked cards in one turn to remove gp from each but the last. At first I thought "UNLIMITED CC!!!", but it has a lot of limitations (requires opponent to draw the card, only affects last played, requires creature on your side of the board to matter). Changing it to draw the card probably wont be good, though it would be interesting in deckout decks (so maybe that wasn't a good idea from me).
If you want to maintain the effect as is, consider putting it on a reasonably stated creature instead.

Yes, I realized these limitations myself.

Note that this does eventually saturate the deck so that every creature you (or your opponent) plays would be marked.

The trick, of course, is that the players might not actually know if a creature is marked or not.

There will be more cards in this series though.

The most obvious additions will be to add ones that inflict poison on a player (akin in power to a multi-triggering neurotoxin) or buff / spawn creatures, etc.

Since they all will essentially trigger off the same marked cards this can add some interesting synnergies.

I have to get to bed atm, but will work on rebalancing soon.
