Discord has droped out of effectiveness with rainbow decks and stuff, i would like a rework of that or maybe another weapon all together....
I like the theme of Discord but just think its mechanic is Lacking. It does combo well with Gravity Nymph and Black hole as I saw with Jmizzle7's deck but on its own it is mediocre at best. This mechanic across 3 cards seemed the way to me.
Is this a targeted spell (could you use it on yourself?) or does it automatically target the opponent?
I could really have fun using something like this on myself as well as the opponent, but would be aggravating being the victim of. Good idea.
You may use this either on yourself or on your opponent. There is a Permanent version of this in Pulsar
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5568.0.html that can only be used on yourself.
So for 2 Quanta you can use it agaisnt a Rainbow (who has say 10 or so of each quanta) Since it is evenly spread out it all gets put into one element. Say this element is light, you just destroyed that deck unless he saved some supernovas.
Any deck running on Supernova's will just have to hold off on using them until needed. Over-extending is an Amateurs mistake not a power issue. They could also choose to run copies of this to fix the situation they come too.
Again, for 2 quanta you can sue it again a mono deck (who has say 50 quanta of their element) so now thise 50 will be distributed to all 12 elements. basically killing the Mono deck.
Against the mono deck in question you were still left with 4 quanta to cast some cards and over the next turn you will generate quanta again.
The Mono deck can recover from this 9since their pillars onyl give one type) but quantum pillars are random sot his REALLY REALLY hurts rainbows.
Consider it rainbow meta.
In my testing I did go to a variation where, when the Quanta conglomerated that it was in the target players mark. This made it more powerful against yourself and weaker against opponents. Against wide ranbows this would be just as strong. Against rainbows with a keyline element it still leaves them quite capable.
