Would this be a temporary or permanent bonus?

This is very OP. Just imagine a field full of cheap  :life hitters like frogs and then you sacrifice one photon for a mass-blessing or even more upped. Possibly +1|+1 and +2|+1 would be better balanced (in case I got it right to be permanently).

Another possibility would make this a spell. Even then... more than +2 atk is too much.
Do you have a great idea for a Weekly Tournament? Post it here!

Making it a temporary buff would be more balanced - perhaps for 2-3 turns, but more likely for 1 turn

Also, lowering the bonus would be better.

So if you made it add +2|+2 for 1 turn, and make it cost 5 quanta, then it would be more balanced

make the card 5 quanta or the effect?

also, does this even belong in life? since it has to do with sacrificing a creature.

TL;DR: No it does not belong with life. I'll explain just a bit later.

Well, before Annele has a field day:

There are multiple formatting errors with the post:
1) You're supposed to use a pipe (|) instead of a slash (/) for creature ATK/HP and the title.
2) You have not credited the art. Please do so, or remove the art. It's fine to have whacky art when you're having fun, but when you're being all official... well, if you're not, pre-smithy idea's for you.
3) You should fill out the entire form. It solves multiple problems.

Spoiler for Your OP should look something like this::
NAME:
Primal Law
ELEMENT:
Life
COST:
3 :life
TYPE:
Permanent
ATK|HP:
I know you'll have copied this thing and
TEXT:
:life Sacrifice a creature. All of your creatures get a +3/+3 counter on them. can be used multiple times per turn.
NAME:
Darwinism
ELEMENT:
Life
COST:
3 :life
TYPE:

not even tried if I see this, you know.
TEXT:

ART:
INSERT ART LINK HERE
IDEA:

NOTES:
this is just an idea for a card of mine.

possible synergies: aflutoxin/ bone wall.
PS. I know I'm terrible at photoshopping!!!
SERIES:
Espithel fixes a newb's CIA's first post

Anyway:
There are a few spectrums of ideas, with two elements on the opposite end of each spectrum as the most extreme end.
One of these spectrums is whether an element builds tall, or builds wide.
The tall elements, :entropy, :gravity, :earth, :fire, :light, :time, have very big creatures, and don't use too many at one time.
The wide elements, :death, :life, :water, :air, :darkness, :aether, use multiple small creatures at once.
The extreme side for the wide elements is either :life or :air.

This thing does buff up multiple targets. That (should be) a life effect.
This thing, however:
Buffs them all too much quite rapidly,
Kills a creature... Killing things isn't a life effect at all.
The thing about flavour is that it is very, very flexible. Most things have the flavour to go into any element, just suiting some more.

Something that wants this more?
Look at the other wide elements and see if any want one.
Death would benefit from this especially.

Anyway, this card isn't too special. I would rather have a spell that said "All my creatures get +1 | +1".
This looks like it's more so a card that an element needs on a competitive front other than a creative front.

I used a photo of a tiger photoshopped it and posted it In my card. is that actually illegal? I mean I don't expect to be going to Africa or paying a nature documentary huge  sums of money just to put an image on my card.

also I wanted to be able to show a more 'dark' side to the life element. I'm sorry if it doesn't fit the theme.

pretend that the image is something evil and morbid. http://i.imgur.com/zMDH1RF.png
