ART: Art by Krava IDEA: OdinVanguard NOTES: "Secrets and misdirection will rule the day today" "The Black Knight ALWAYS triumphs! -Famous last words" The idea is to have a creature that is exceptionally powerful for its cost with the downside being that it makes your opponent stronger at the same time. Its a good metaphor for "arrogance" the idea being that knight feels that it is so powerful that it gives an opponent greater strength just to prove its own superiority. Balance wise, the bonus attack and hp given to the opponent is equal to the amount of extra attack and hp this creature has compared to a normal creature of the same cost. SERIES:

I like it. It adds another dimension to this game. One that is easy to balance but also gives room for fun idea.s

Is the buff permanent? If the Knight dies, does the buffed creature lose its +3|+3? Also I think you can afford ti up the stats of the knight a bit as well. Then again I'm no expert balancer so I don't know.

The buff is permanent, even if the knight dies. The idea is that you either have to be willing to take the hit from the tougher enemy creature or have something up your sleave to deal with it.

I could bump the knight a little. About how much though? I want to keep the casting cost and provided buff the same.

Just an note: this could be abused if played along with Shard of Sacrifice, or followed up with an anti-matter on the buffed enemy.

I wouldn't bump the stats up at all, considering it only costs 1 to begin with. I like this card very much, but naming-wise, I think that the upgraded card should stick with the "arrogance" theme. "Black" doesn't really keep the same meaning that "arrogance" has in the unupped version. Maybe change "black" to "prideful" or "aloof", or some other descriptor that holds true to arrogance's meaning. Or just keep the name the same. Once again, I really dig this card very much, as it adds a great deal to gameplay.

Hmmm, good point... Okay, I changed it to Prideful Warrior for the unupped version and Arrogant Knight for the upped version.

Interesting combo ideas... I was thinking it would mainly see use with RT or Eternity when I first put it together.

I really like your idea, but the enemy buff is too much as far as Im concerned. In comparison with micro abomination ( 1 entropy cost 2/4 atc/def ). +3/+3 should be like +2/+2. But great concept
