Mushrooms seemed like a nice way to make a good :life / :death synergy card and bridge. The spore mechanic should bridge both element's themes quite well.

It also gives :death players a way to spend off the considerable amounts of :death quanta that can accumulate when using soul catchers

If the owner does not have enough :death quanta, the mushroom / toadstool is destroyed after the effect takes place.

At this point I think they are nearly equivalent since almost no cards interact with the number of poison counters on a creature. But I will go with having it simply take no damage from poison... maybe that will make for an amusing trio with catapults.

If this also affects owner's creatures, then I think it is UP. seems better to me. 75% is high chance, no drawbacks. Well, only problem is momentum though. However does not require other element. I like the idea itlself, but I guess it needs some buff.

EDIT: ok, on the second thought I forgot you can have 6 of those... Well, maybe it's not so bad  ;D

The phrase "poison two random targets" sounds like it is random, but it also implies that you can manually target creatures - maybe clean up the wording on that.
