I like the card, but I don't see any strategy behind it.  The only real use would be to have both in a darkness/light stall deck with dusk and miracle, but even then..... devour and drain?  Meh!

It's a cool idea, but I wouldn't use it in a deck =/

Plus:  does this go off before or after pillars?

It goes off after. It takes whatever quanta you produced, and then gives it to you again.
