IDEA:

NOTES:
Illusory Jewel's ability triggers the moment it enters play and can be used only once. (Though I think it might be too weak compared to PA/EA so maybe it should protect all permanents once).

Mirage Jewel's charges works similar to Bone Wall's, though there is no way to increase their count. I intended to write "Each attempt to destroy your permanent" but because of little space I wrote "Destroying your permanent", I hope it does not cause too much confusion, because no permanent is destroyed.

If there are no more charges on Mirage Jewel, it is destroyed. Having more than 1 Mirage Jewel in play results in all of them losing a single charge so is usually not advised.

Time Trials Phase 1 idea.

That card would be too powerful seriously. Although i like the idea + the look of the card itself it should be cut back a little.

Damn! I knew I should have posted MY ideas before you. :P (Even though none of my ideas are like yours at all, heh)

Anyway, the only issue I can see with this is that this card further enhances the unstoppable synergy between :earth and :time, making it have a ridiculous amount of permanent safety (PA + Jewel), alongside its soft creature control/quanta denial (Quicksand +  Rewind). Of course, this would be the perfect card to have against False Gods, especially if you can get one out after having a hand filled with cards.

Does this also affect Steal? Or not?

I think it's more of a way to decrease :time's dependency on :earth, rather than strengthening it (there is no reason to PA a Jewel).

And yes, it works with steal the same way. Think of the Jewel as creating illusions of permanents and your opponent instead of destroying/stealing a real permanent destroys/steals the illusion therefore dispelling it.

I see - I suppose that perhaps the jewel itself is just a mere distraction that causes opponents to be unable to 'destroy' permanents because the jewel is so shiny/distracting. :D

It would DEFINITELY help out Time nonetheless, considering it has the biggest potential of protecting all of the permanents on the field as Time does have the most permanents total.
