Hm. I'll now pack a few Animate weapons and this on my RoL Hope.

This seems overly powerful, and i can't seem to find a way to balance this. maybe someone else can.

And how would this work against Hope? -1 DR the turn it attacks, back to full on it's own turn, right?

This is a very interesting card... Seems a bit too powerful though... 8 :aether for 8 dmg a turn, and a great side effect. Side Effect would be pointless against wings, dim shield, fog, dusk, and thats all I can think of. Would have some bad side effects though, because thorn carpace and permafrost would now poison/freeze all your creatures once it got its defense power low enough... The 8 dmg alone is pretty good though. Well on second thought, Morning star is 5 :light for 8 dmg and is immaterial... Overall, all I have to say is that I like the idea. Very interesting. And you dont know if the opponent is going to play a shield or not so it could be worthless. Im going to say balanced because it can be a pretty situational side effect, and its raw dmg to quanta ratio is horribly OP without the effect being used.

I like, but i'm confused about Dis. Shield. It blocks damage, but it's maximum is set by the amount of available quanta. So would this lower by1 by removing qaunta?
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Aside from the mechanics and balancing, I love the art! :)

???
That would mean titan and morning glory are haxorz.

This probably won't affect dis. shield.

considering lasers are intense light, shouldn't this thematically fit much better in :light ?
(Noun: A device that generates an intense beam of coherent monochromatic light (or other electromagnetic radiation) by stimulated emission of photons from excited atoms or molecules.)

Scientifically speaking it does seem to fit better in light, but it doesn't seem terribly out of place in  :aether

I don't like the one-use feel it has.  After about 2-3 turns, it becomes an overpriced, weaker MG/Titan.

Eh. 100th post. =D
