Does the +1 stack, IE you move it again and it gains another one? Or is it static?
The + 1 stacks permanently.

So it goes +1, +1, +1, and so on? That might get out of hand, esp. with the upgraded, but then again, it is an activated ability so that might counter balance it. Also rampant creature playing would, or cards that spawn other cards.

That being said, however, the ability looks nice. You may want to start off Bishop with 0_1, so that it doesn't attack straightaway and start gaining attack. Also to reduce the effectiveness of epinephrine on top of this; move bishop ONCE and it gets a massive boost.

True Pawn can keep adding + 1, yes it can get out of hand.
But the thing is elements have lots of better cards and comboes to create more impressive damage.
The pawn needs so much time to be able to generate that kind of destruction damage to kill your opponent.

How does one select which ability to use?
̶V̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶g̶o̶o̶d̶ ̶q̶u̶e̶s̶t̶i̶o̶n̶,̶ ̶i̶ ̶d̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶s̶w̶e̶r̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶ ̶:̶-̶\̶.̶
After you click on Pawn, two shiny spots will appear, one on the next slot and one on the back slot,
click either to advance Pawn to that slot, same as chess.

Im guessing Pawn's grow ability is too strong,
but Pawn's actually requires strategy,
Lets say you put Pawn into your battlefield,
then you put Forest Spirit into your battlefield,
now your Pawn cant advance to the next slot to get that +1/+0 bonus,
the Pawn moves is blocked, its like chess.

Don't guess, compare:
Pawn 1|1 is +1|+1 per 2 turns and costs 1 :darkness +0 :underworld per 2 turns
Forest Spirit 1|1 is +4|+4 per 2 turns 2 :life +2 :water per 2 turns
Fire Spirit 0|2 is +4|+0 per 2 turns and costs 2 :fire +2 :fire per 2 turns
Bishop 1|1 is +2|+2 per 2 turns and costs 1 :darkness +0 :underworld per 2 turns
Forest Spectre 2|3 is +4|+4 per 2 turns and costs 3 :life +2 :water per 2 turns
Fire Spectre 2|3 is +4|+0 per 2 turns and costs 3 :fire +2 :fire per 2 turns

To be honest i like Pawn's stats right now, its simple 1 and 0 only.
I noticed my own fault that actually Pawn do not get jammed,
because you can always move Pawn first before you summon a new creature.

And i have come out with a pure honest solution to solve everything and yet stay relevant to chess.
"End turn after casting this ability", foxrain4 leaps into the air for joy  :D

I am not sure  what you meant here. I am aware that it is a simple +1|+0 or +0|+1 per turn. (+1|+0)+(+0|+1) = +1|+1.
Although I did miss that you could choose which option to do each turn(well, backing up is harder, but reliable once you have a head start)

Again, I think it would be wise to compare. You seem too quick to jump.
Bishop 1|1 is +2|+2 per 2 turns and costs 1 :darkness +0 :underworld per 2 turns
Forest Spectre 2|3 is +4|+4 per 2 turns and costs 3 :life +2 :water per 2 turns

I did a few calculations and same as your ones,
It shows that Pawn or Bishop ability to grow stats without quanta is overpowered.
However i do not want to change the cost of summoning Pawn, adding quanta costs for ability
or mess with the power and toughness.

So i add in a new ability balance overpowered Pawn,
"End turn after casting this ability".
