EDT : Actually, considering 'Opposites', how does this sound?
"When played, your opponent gains 6 quanta of his mark. One random card in your hand gets its cost decreased by 1 each turn. (Cannot go below 3)"
I really like that idea. Hooray for Cheaper Fractal! XD
It is the greatest mystery of all...

I'm going to need to search for a new ability (unless someone convinces me otherwise), while maintaining this card's theme.
I actually kind of liked the original effect. it was just not fit for an "other" cards because of the numerous synergies.

Considering the di|trichromatic opposite, we start from: "Targets the two|three quantum pools with the most quantum. Generates 1 quanta of each selected pool each turn." The present one could be "Destroys 1 quanta from each of the two|three quantum pools of your opponent with the most quantum each turn."
I was also considering an anti-discord effect "Brings 1 quanta from each of the quantum pools of your opponent into his most populated quanta pool. For ex aequo pools, the most populated is chosen randomly"
