Grave Goods - Permanent

Cost - 4  :time

Place Goods- 1 :time - Select a creature. When that creature dies, it is replaced by a scarab. Can be used multiple times.

Alternatively, it can be like boneyard and generate scarabs when a creature dies. Another idea is; when a creature on your side of the field dies, then a scarab is generated.

Not sure how useful it will actually be, since there aren't many spells that harm your creatures. However, it can also be used to intimidate your opponent into not killing your weaker creatures with a fire storm, allowing them to do damage. Or you can combine it with a couple of already existing scarabs to eat weak creatures (IE: Photons) on your side of the field. Hell, you could even put out a couple sparks to get some scarabs going.

Well, this surely could be powerful due to how Scarabs work. I like the previous version more, the enemy would still have a choice of dropping the RoF before you can Good the creatures. But the strategic parts you explained are very nice and this card could be added to the game.

...although its power is so high, the cost could be raised to 2. Or changed to Death.

I think this should be renamed Sarcophagus, and the ability should be Pharaoh's Curse, costing 2 :time. When cursed by Sarcophagus, the creature turns into a Scarab when it dies.

I like this idea.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Well, Scarabs were used as Grave Goods, thus where the name came from. Name doesn't matter much, though.

Oh, and another idea is that when a creature dies, it is turned into a scarab. So, when your opponents creature dies, it turns into a scarab. This gives the card a down side, as well, and makes the playing field even.

I was also kind of straying away making the ability be triggered by a different element, so it could be used in mono-time decks. However, raising the cost seems good. I'd even go as far as to raise the cost by 2 and ability by 1.
