@The Idea seems to barely fit Life but does seem balanced or near balanced.

@The comparision to Green
While Life from ETG does share some characteristics with Green for MTG, it does not share all.
It is efficient
It grows

It is not the Element of quanta acceleration (I mark it as 3-4th)
It is not Naturalize
It is not Trample
It is not Trollshroud

@Uppercut
That was unnecessarily harsh. MTG has much to teach both from its successes and its failures. Its greatest lesson is rarity is not a measure of balance.

Thanks for the review. And, I didn't mean to say that life from elements is the mirror of green from mtg. After all, they're two different, equally beautiful games :)

Just to check, Life Pendulums will have no effect on this?
I like it, if Life can poison (which is originally Death) then why not a more Fire-esque attack like this? It's pushing at the boundaries of the essence of Life element, no doubt, but does just fit imo.

I don't think so, even because that could potentially broke the card. Glad you like the idea tho.

CURATOR COMMENT
-Fix the capitalization issues in the TEXT section of your tables (the word 'Emerald' shouldn't be capitalized to match the card image, OR you need to change the card image so that those words are correctly capitalized)

I think this would be a much cooler effect if it applied to every Life permanent on your board (pillars, towers, pendulums, bonds, AND a shield), because it could fit the 'rushy' theme of Life (while also providing stall if you have bonds and Jade Shield up). The cost would have to be raised or the damage would need to be reduced accordingly if that happened, but if all these vines starting sprouting out from nowhere, I would definitely expect Thorn Carapace to be the most 'brutal permanent' to help those vines out. ;)

Thanks for pointing out the capitalization concept :)

Anyway, my concern in adding the second effect is... wouldn't that make it sort of a "uber card"? With 8ish cost, and potential huge damage in monogreen, this would lose a bit of its versatility, what do you think?
