Weapon or shield is what I voted for (as anticipated) and it seems to be the shared feeling of the voters. This far.

I think that it should affect both weapon and shield slots for a short duration such as 2 turns max.

Does that mean I have to put a shield in the ice-cube as well? took me long enough to fit that sword in lol.

I think this card is balanced, my only concern is that is too specific.  I do not know if this card would warrant priority in a deck over other cards.  I hope that makes sense.
would you prefer the dual option of weapon or shield?
My only concern with freezing shield in general is that it then needs to be more expensive....freezing weapon hinders certain amount of attack (I know Fahrenheit is sort of unlimited). Freezing shield allows 3 turns of free attack(!!!!!), which could be a LOT of damage....are people willing to pay the extra price of including shields? As it stands including shields would be way OP.

Ok, added 5th option suggested by patchx94. Will let voting go on longer and perhaps change card tomorrow and see how that goes. Thanks everyone again for feedback :)

I really like it, and it should work like "animate weapon" meaining that it affects the weapon not mattering if it is protected or not. that would be rather nice balancing, considering the situations it would be used don't happen quite that often.. rather nice one, too.

oh crap, thought I had. Can't seem to do that in hindsight :(
But I'm guessing you're changing your vote from weapon or shield to weapon and shield?

Anyone else wanting to change post here (or PM if you don't want everyone to know, I promise to keep vote confidential) best I can offer....sorry

cheers. if it can target shields as well (voting happening as we speak) then that gives it more balancing. It also targets weapon slot, so doesn't really matter what weapon...

"it targets weapon slot"
the question is, do YOU have to target it or does it automatically target the opponent's weapon slot regardless of immaterial?

Hmm... i think it should affect both, but last only 2 turns if that's the case.

At the moment it would happen automatically. As things stand there could be a change to being able to choose shield or weapon....which changes things again :s Your option could change it back again!

Personally, I still think it's OP against shields, it kills Dimensional Shield and more or less nullifies Bone Wall, two of the favourite shields in the game from what I see....also save loads of creature loss against Fire Shield and Thorn Carapace which potentially is giving you a massive buff etc etc :s
That's the thing, targeting shield gives all your creatures so much free damage.....

That's why you change it to 2 turns. a deflagration could beat everything but bonewall for an infinite amount of turns...

I think I'll have to sleep on this one. And then probably add a new poll!
If it does effect both I could perhaps rename it Ice Shackles as it effects both 'hands', although that means changing picture...spent hours on that pic lol....

nevertheless, thanks for feedback and will think about it :)

Perhaps the term "paralysis" seems to be better.
