Am I reading the card right? After 2 turns it goes away, or removes. Doesn't it self produce the effect after 2 turns?

Yes it does. But what if those two turns are two turns too late? This isn't really an issue with

due to Butterfly Effect, though, so it isn't really wasting too much.

It also is anti PC as it would trigger to make a new shield.
