they rode out from the trading post at dawn, headed west across the wasteland toward seawatch, though broken bough pass was their destination. each carried their own personal favorite, a revolver, shotgun, rifle, even dynamite. one carried a zap gun in his boot. another a flamethrower on his back. no matter the odds, no matter the situation, they were prepared to wreck havoc on their enemy.

it is a shotgun, the blunderbuss being the predecessor, it deals pretty good cluster damage to a group of 9 units centered on the target. it is powerful damage, but nowhere near as good as dynamite.

Two main things.
1: For your area of effect cards, such as Shotgun, it's more common to use the six spaces around something because of the way creatures are played.
2: It's somewhat of a card design taboo to use objects from our present. After all, this is a FANTASY game. I mean, could you really picture an elemental holding a shotgun?

I could picture an elemental holding an ornate older antique shotgun, not a modern riot gun, if I do the art, these will all be fantasy/western
