I think it is a sound addition with good balance.

I think it should be a little cheaper. Compare to golden nymph. I think it would be tough to make an efficient deck that could make use of 3

to draw a card. Even mindgate has efficiency problems and it is same-color.

Anyways, this is slightly more balanced.
It's still kinda iffy having a card drawing mechanic that doesn't cost

, but

seems thematically correct for this, and all current "captians" have abilities of a different element, so it works.
