Cheap flexible anti-CC, protecting your creatures until you need them for anything other than attacks.  Invisibility is the same as Cloak, where only the owner can see it.  To manually activate an ability means to use Growth or Endow as opposed to automatic active abilitiess like Overdrive and Venom.

This looks like a fun card.  Might I suggest perhaps something like -this-?

Camouflage//Concealment 2 :life // 1 :life

Permanent

Target creature slot cloaks whatever creature it contains from your opponent.  Any opponent's spell targeting this slot destroys camouflage first instead of affecting the creature.

I think this would be a lot cooler, because you could play it on whichever slot was next going to have a creature placed into it, and then play a creature in it where your opponent might not be sure what it is, especially if they weren't watching too carefully.  Right now, it's usually fairly obvious, due to almost no creatures sharing a cost, plus when you attack it will often be even more obvious, but as more creatures are added it will become better.  It would also allow for some very hilarious synergy with fate egg and mutation and nymph's tears, as your opponent would be uncertain what was there, at least at first.  This version would also be vulnerable to PC, but if it were not destroyed, it would still be there for use if the creature died, and you replayed another creature in the same slot.  (though as I've worded it, this could only happen if the creature died to fire buckler/thorn carapace, or poison that it already had, or was sacrificed by the owner, like virus or immolation)

Dunno what you'll think of the idea; I don't expect you to use it at all, but I'm hoping to fire the imagination of yourself and others with it :)

Seems like an interesting twist, but the current idea is simpler, and less powerful.  This addresses Life's need for some Anti-CC, but being cheap enough to have some good synergy (Camouflaged Overdriven Armagios anyone?).  Also, this in general has an 'ambush' kind of sense to it, as it helps with summoning sickness, and when you are ready to crazy buff something.

I like this idea and it's simplicity. I've always thought that life lacked some form of creature protection, and this is a good answer. Nice card!

Fun mechanic concept... Could also work well as a creature ability too. Would be a good way to make a :darkness / :life synnergy creature or permanent.

Its a very good way to protect your creatures, but without being too overpowered.

... Sadly The rating seems to be locked :( or I would give it 4 to 5 stars.

Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?
If your zombie plan is
kill -9 `ps l | awk '{print $2" "$3" "$9}' | grep "Z" | awk '{printf("%s ",$2)}'`

would still affect this card like it does cloak?

From the opening post (emphasis, mine):
NOTES:
Cheap flexible anti-CC, protecting your creatures until you need them for anything other than attacks.  Invisibility is the same as Cloak, where only the owner can see it.  To manually activate an ability means to use Growth or Endow as opposed to automatic active abilitiess like Overdrive and Venom.

If this isn't the case, this card would probably end up being a bit on the OP side I think. The possibility that invisibility can be removed helps keep it balanced.

I say this because even though the invisibility is somewhat more fragile, in that it will break if the target is used or targeted a second time, unlike cloak it has an unlimited duration. Having some way to remove it is important. (think of what how potent this combo is in protecting creatures with skills like vampire or overdrive)
