So it's a way for a stall deck to do unavoidable damage, provided you quint it and your opponent doesn't play Fire Shield/Thorn Carapace. Well, it shouldn't be usable several times per turn, but you could increase the damage. Doubt I'd use it over a growing, momentumed, quinted creature though, even when considering how many cards that combo takes. You have a nice concept, however. Something cool could definitely come out of it.
