The Crusader has a very constructive nature : duplicating weapon's ability. And it also has the ability to gain HP to withstand damage. However, this  knight has a destructive power : stealing ability of opponent's weapon, which means this card can "lobotomize" a weapon. The dark knight also has more offensive power compared to Crusader but it is also more vulnerable to CC as it cannot gain HP from its ability. Note that this card only steals weapon's ability. It does NOT steal weapon's attack (It gains attack instead) so this card won't make opponent's weapon completely useless. SERIES:

Interesting.  's Crusader.  I'd actually rename it, maybe to Absorb or something, because Drain makes it too close to Drain Life...  Also, allow it to gain the health too, like Crusader?  It kind of balances itself out as you need several weapons to compensate while Crusaders can work off the same weapon.

I really like this version of Crusader. But stat-wise, it's not that much more powerful than 's. It has just one attack point more. You say it's more focused on attack and offense, and I see plenty of offense in stealing abilities, but not that much for 1 attack.  2 more than crusader would fit better I think

Waitwut? Stats compared with crusader are +2/+0 | +3/-1. I'd say stats are balanced.

Really good idea, 'borrowing' a weapons ability seems on theme for darkness.

Perhaps it could be called the anti-crusader?  or infidel?

I'm not so sure about gaining health from weapons because the idea behind this card is that a Crusader sacrifices his life and his soul in exchange for more power. I can increase the attack if this card is too weak but I think it would better to keep it within normal CC range even after using ability.

As for the name of the card, I leave it for you guys to discuss because I don't know which one to pick

I also believe "Drain" has to go, in Elements, "drain" means hurting a target and healing yourself for that amount of damage.

I think it should lose health if you want to keep this theme. Maybe increase hp slightly to balance?

Something like Shadow knight/Dark knight would work.

Let me be honest here, I made this card just based on themes. I didn't think much about its impact on the game.

And I don't think this card can really give much to the game other than a expansion of the  theme.

But as the card pool develops, I also don't believe all new cards need to be unique in their roles to be introduced. This is the reason I made this card.
