I would like to remind people of 2 details:
1) My estimate was intended as the low estimate to make a point that the Angel was OP.
2) Quanta Acceleration (Ray of Light) >> Quanta Generation (Angel of Light). Acceleration enables one to start a few turns ahead. Generation can be Acceleration but when slowed by a high investment cost the Acceleration is slowed to the point of not qualifying as Acceleration.

The upped name just seems a little odd to me... Maybe "Angel of Illumination" or something, brightness fits the idea but just doesn't have as nice of a ring as Angel of Light.... But I might just be getting too picky.

Otherwise I think this card is really cool. The second version seems pretty well balanced. The creature itself is tougher than FFQ and wont require a duo to function, but since ray of light is much weaker firefly and photons require luciferin to function it should be good.
I love the artwork on both versions by the way.

Very nicely done card.

good as lost the sense of generating light quanta, can be illuminating angel or resplendent angel.

the art of card I'll still fill the black background, do not know if the stars, rainbow effect, perhaps a sky ...

Stars would work well for the bottom one. Top one may not need much since it already fills the card image.
