Can you rend weapon/shield slots?

If Rend is ever introduced into the game, we will need to have playable bank weapon, creature and shield slots to balance it.

no just the regular permanent slots. I should also clarify that this ability will only work on empty slots, for creature and permanent. If a slot is destroyed, the player can still play their cards in the next available slot (if there is one)

Ah... That makes much more sense.

Not sure why you would need to rend permanent slots, though.

Mindgate decks would suffer quite badly from rending permanent slots in some cases.
