Definitely think this should be an Entropy card.

Make it work like this, and it will be more popular (My opinion.)

Dodecahedron: Spell
Cost: 4 Entropy
Ability: Target player's Mark is changed into a Quantum Mark.

Mark of Quantum: (New Mark idea)
Ability: Generate 3 Random Quanta each turn.

When this spell is used on a mark which is already a Quantum Mark, it changes it to whatever the Mark was previously.

Okay so I've just suggested a new mark card. People cannot be able to CHOOSE this mark as they do any other mark. The only way to get a Quantum Mark is to use this card. This could work in a Rainbow deck which splashed Entropy for Supernovas and possibly this card as well.

Secondly, this spell works in a way as a defense against itself.

Example:
Opponent casts Dodecahedron on my Mark of Darkness.
I know get +3 random quanta a turn, but have a Mono-Entropy deck, which splashes Darkness for Werewolves.
I happen to carry a Dodecahedron or two in my deck for just such a situation.
I cast Dodecahedron on my Quantum Mark et voilá, I know have a Mark of Darkness again.

My two cents, I think this could work.

Good ideas. I don't like a card to change your mark into a mark of your choice because that one card exists solely to counter another, and that should never be the case because it's very, very limited in this game. Lanidrak's idea is complicated to understand, but is purposeful, clean, and makes a lot of sense. Still, I don't know if it should be implemented, because it's quite powerful + Zanz may not even want to code a Quantum Mark :D

the card can be used in splash decks, rainbow decks, pretty much any deck that uses more than one type of quantum. if your splash deck has enough quantum to power all the cards that require the mark, why keep the mark? same situation in other decks. if you have, lets say a mark of fire, and you have 50 fire quantum, but you only need 30, then change it to a mark that isnt recieving much. its a quantum balancing card. can be very useful

Thanks for all suggestions.

The summary of lord_midnight appears to be well adding that "Dodecahedron" should be a entropy card.
I like the idea of a card to both offensive and defensive.

How about the upped version changes the target's (user or opponent) mark to one of choice? Then it can definitely changed to a completly unusable one agains your opponent, rather than the possiblity of them getting a useful one. On yourself, it can counter itself. Kind of.

How did no-one say this yet?
