New Card to change opponent mark

I'm in late for the ''best card idea competition"

I have not read all this forum and perhaps this idea has already been proposed. Being able to change the mark of his opponent during gameplay seems fun.

I thought this card called ''dodecahedron" belonging to the category ''other elements". It could also be called ''metamorphosis'' as a function of the same name found in the game.

With a cost of 6, you can change your opponent mark into a random mark.

Cool idea, but very overpowered. After all, many duo-speed decks involve the Mark as the primary quanta source for 1 element (speed-poison and earth-gravity Denial, just to name 2.) Perhaps it changes it for several turns, or something? In its current state, this card can destroy any splash deck.

You're right, a change for several turns would be better than a permanent change.

Balance issues aside, I see this more as an Entropy card. Just the kind of disruption that is entropy, quite similar to Discord.

just a quick little question. what is a splash deck?

A deck that uses the Mark to "splash" or add a small amount of another element into a deck.  Usually there are no pillars of the splashed element, at least in my definition.  I run a Gravity/Death with a Mark of Life and Empathic Bonds, therefore I've splashed Life into the deck.

oh ok. ty. now to get back on topic. the idea isnt all that bad. there are many cards out there that RUIN other decks. aflatoxin kills decks that rely on bone shields. discord kills mono decks. its all about preference

Discord in no way "kills" mono decks - it just reduces the amount of quanta available. Mono-decks usually have quite a high pillar-to-other card ratio, perhaps the highest in the game. Aflatoxin doesn't "kill" decks that rely on bone walls, either. It just makes stuff harder. Anyways, what decks "rely" on bone walls, anyways? Just a quick Plague and a Graveyard can quickly turn the tide.

However, this card literally destroys any splash deck, and there are a lot of great splash decks out there.

then there should be a card that changes your own mark to a mark of your choice. to counter this card.
