Hail there.

I was thinkin' 'bout 'what if there would be real connection between water elemental and alchemi, not only in the description" so here it is:

Icarus' potion: Give the target creature the dive ability. During the progress the creature's power wains, and it loses 30% of it's AP.

The AP loss is because it would be imba on a dragon, and the percent based loss is because -3 would be OK for a dragon, but would suck on a Dragonfly, or similar.

I had a card like this, but I had called it updraft and it would only work on 5 attack or under creatures. In other words, I approve of a card that gives the target the dive ability :P.

Umm, your card description, let me see if I have this right... it takes more than one turn to come into play, and while it is building up a creature loses... attack. (Seriously, what are you defining AP as, I'm only asking because it's not used in this game).

But I do like it, slightly...

It should act like a spell, like lightning. You click it, click a monster and the monster would have 30% less attack but have the dive ability. I like it.

So it's just a weakend spell dive ability that lasts one turn ,and you have to aadd to your deck, taking up space? Don't get me wrong, I like the card idea, it just needs a bit more work.

It lasts forever until creature is destroyed. You should also make a permanent that gives all creatures with wings dive ability.

Yeah, the permanent would be OP if someone use dragons. And imagine a FFQ deck with it.

P.S. If this happened I would go back to useing my dive, PU universe deck, where I got to an attack of 120. Do you really want me to make the creature dive? 240 attack. And that would just be the strongest wrym out in the field, not all of them, and the only reasonI only got to that attack was because the game ended. I'd love dive on a dragon starting off at 13 attack, it would make for an ever stronger dive/pu deck.

^ That's why my card limited the effected creature to a base of 4 attack, but didn't cause any attack power loss when played.
