That's still having two skills. I don't think the game mechanics can work like that.

It only has one active ability. His skill gives him a new ability, and the new ability's skill gives him his old ability.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Sure.. I just don't like the idea of an ability that changes the creature's ability.

Butterfly Effect changes a creature's ability, so this is a codeable ability.

But butterfly effect isn't an ability. And I don't mean an ability that targets another creature, but an ability that directly changes when used.

Is there something wrong with that. Compare that with just about any other ability, and you'll see it's just another unique mechanic.

There's a difference between unique and nonexistent.

But whatever. We'll see what other people have to say.

So this 1 card generates unlimited beaters that are hard to deal with? One of the best control finishers ever?

Well my understanding is that the ravens need to use the skill, which gives them a status, and only then would they regenerate when killed. Due to summoning sickness, they would have to be vulnerable for at least one turn. It still seems a bit overpowered, but should be somewhat balanced by high quanta costs.

I guess it's VERY overpowered... Maybe if the Dark Poet dies, every raven dies, or something like that...

Butterfly Effect changes a creature's ability, so this is a codeable ability.
True... Technically it'd be 2 cards that switch between each other, but you'd see as if it's only one changing skills, so I guess it's codeable... Maybe the fact of a new ability mechanics (which is basically the combinated use of the previous mechanics) would be the problem, but the card is still factible

TT_TT Sorry, but this thread's coming back, for a little while. I want to at least get this into Crucible, but I'm gonna need some help. This isn't a bump, this is me starting over without making a new thread.
