Just a thought. Wouldn't a beholder card be welcome? Using quantums to stop another creature from attacking seems like a good ability for a beholder card as well, I think.



I'm bored at work and did a few more.

That looks pretty neat actually, nice idea! Then again the cost seems high for a disabling move because for 1 Water I can congeal a target or for three time quanta I can send it back to the bench.

Hmm.. Possibly. I thought that it was fairly modest though, since Arctic Squid's freeze has roughly the same effect and costs three.

I think Squid is a silly card (stats are very poor and it is rare for no reason) and that is why I would be careful of making any comparisons with it. But when you pay three water quants you are getting a full lock of the card for 4 turns, which means no attack and no skill usage. Here we are paying 2 time quants for attack prevention that has a duration of one turn. It just seems a bit lopsided to pay such a big price for such little bang!

Very cool. I like this idea.

You cannot compare this to Congeal because Congeal takes one cards slot and can only be used once.

But I think he might be a bit overpowered. I would like to see him as 3/3, because there's a BIG difference between 3 and 4 HP. Or maybe increase his cost?

Then again it does cost 2 quantum to use that ability.. I don't know. Difficult to say without testing.

But yeah.. very good idea.

I'll admit that comparing it to congeal the spell was foolish, however drawing parallels between the skill congeal and possibly even reverse time the wep skill seems reasonable to me. If you are going to make it cost two then make it disable two critters or do something else than just an attack lock.

I've got a good idea. The target could be stuck in time bubble for one turn (like what Procrastination does). This way he cannot use his ability OR attack.

I was going to suggest with my own Time card idea but I think it works better with this one.

The teleportation has already been made as the gravity card momentum, and gives +1/+1 for 2 quantum but i do think aether needs something like that, and upped reverse time is already called rewind, so you'll need another name for that  :P

I really like the telekinesis one though, and you should make martyr deal 7 (?) damage or heal 10, because 5 hp is not worth sacrificing 5 damage, unless you have a bonewall/multiple boneyards

But i love the artwork and the cards in general

I really like your creative ideas and the artwork that you have employed to illustrate the cards, major kudos for the incredible results. I will try to give you some feedback on the individual cards at a later date.


@SG: I was going to suggest the time bubble solution myself and I was surprised to read that you had the same idea. Overall I think that it balances the card well and justifies the cost!

Nice cards, nice artwork  ;D

Beholder- Awesome. For the critics- just because an ability already exists doesn't mean it can't be re-used in new cards!

Bloom- I'd make it give one life AND one light- or maybe that could be the upgraded version.

Combustion- wouldn't a fire bolt be far superior in every situation?

Funeral- Good idea, the game needs more variety in creature control.

Kraken- Hmm... Starting hand of 5 Towers and 2 Krakens = WIN! (might be a bit overpowered, maybe 1 tower would be better)

Martyr- Awesome!

Rewind- Needs a new name as Terroking already said. Also- should only be one turn otherwise overpowered/abusable

Rock Golem- great idea.

Telekenesis- I wish there were cards like this already!

Teleportation- I'd half the cost as it's just a weak momentum. Otherwise more variety is always good!

Updraft- Could be useful. Not sure exactly what you mean though. What's a slight chance? And by returned does that mean per creature or all creatures? Would they still damage the you?

Voodoo- Most likely WAY OP. But would make a good creature swarm counter.
