I disagree on the damage dealing card issue...we also have infection cards - Parasite and ...umm...the sacrifice one...(looked it up...Virus) These not only deal damage, they deal -consistent- damage that is stackable.
List of creature kill cards:
Creatures: Otyugh, Maxwell's Demon, Fallen Elf (possibly), Virus, Parasite, Toadfish, Red Nymph, Scarab
Spells: Chaos Seed (possibly), Mutation (possibly), Aflatoxin (with a drawback), Gravity Pull, Fire Bolt, Ice Bolt, Rain of Fire, Rage Potion, Holy Light, Thunderstorm, Drain Life, Lightning
Permanents: Fire Shield, Owl's Eye, Unstable Gas (more of a spell, though - one time use)
Just a reminder, Direct Damage is not the only way to kill creatures, try thinking outside of the box...
While Elements is -very heavily- based on creatures, it also has a variety of ways to get rid of them, even with the limited card pool it has.
Basically, I don't think this card is too OP, there are MANY ways to kill it...Oty eats unupped every time, Elite Oty eats upped as second creature every time. Adding quint makes it harder, but adding quint to Oty makes it just as good, if not better: MUCH cheaper ability, cheaper CC, higher health, quicker kill as turns go by. An Oty can eat most dragons after 3 turns, meaning they are gone after one attack...this card gives them at least 2, up to 4-5 for Golden.
Yes, it's powerful, but that is one thing this game needs...I only think the p/h (is that good for power/health, like p/t for mtg?) should be a little lower. IMO (I'm sure Zanz has his own opinions, I'm just voicing my own opinions here), for the way Elements is set up, smaller creatures are needed, or else ways to dispose of larger creatures (maybe some kind of 'Destroy target creature with attack >6 or health >6 or whatever...hey, card idea...lol). One thing I really miss is weenie rush, which is so far impossible in Elements because of lack of cards (Rainbow could do it but is way too unreliable quantally [is that a word?] for it to work reliably - reliably [just wanted to say that {and I like brackets, in case you didn't notice} ] ).
k, it's late, I'm tired and loopy. I'll be back to discuss, but I like the card, keep up the good work and awesome artwork.
