Can you imagine having 6 of these going?  A field full of diseased mice would deal ~12 additional poison damage each turn.  This is better than graveyard since you get a creature does damage that a shield cannot block.  I can imagine some sort of  :life :death deck with adrenalized mice and bonewalls in case the other guy tries creature control.

A bit too powerful.

Are both too powerful? At first I had the upgraded version at 60%.

Or should I make a limit on however many mice can be spawned from one Cage? (Lasts 4 turns? Like phase shield)

hm...

What about making the diseased rat a 1|2 creature with a 50% to infest for 2 :death

There's no way of stopping the poison damage, they bypass shields and all of that

I'm a bit concerned because of boneyard/graveyard beeing in  :death as well

That's just my thoughts...

A 4-turn doomsday clock would help.  Maybe keep the Rat at only 50% chance to poison as well.  Comparing to chrysaora, this card is roughly equivalent since it's poisoning is free but doesn't always hit.  Imagine what you could do with Rat cage + fractal.....that would be some crazy speed poison!

Alright I changed the doomsday clock to 4 turns for unupped and 5 turns for upped. I also decreased the rats' chance of poisoning to 60%, while decreasing the cost to 2 :death.

Question, since the mouse with 0 atk doesn't attack (or does it? Don't know the coding) how would it apply poision?

Same way that Chrysaora and Physalia apply their poisons. However, these rats are death not water. Chrysaora's have 0 atk.

There is a disparity between the art credit on the card image and that in the table.
