What's the difference between upped and unupped? Also, why did you choose Darkness for this card, and what is a moondial?

The upped version only affects opponent's creatures

I use :darkness because it is the closest element I can get.  :death is close but it already has plague as mass CC

Moondial is opposite to sundial. I make this name because it fits the theme of darkness (though moondial doesn't really exist)

I'd make the upped cost at least 5.  Balance it against Pandemonium.

My bad.... I didn't find moondial in dictionary and I thought it didn't exist. BTW it's good to know I didn't make a word.

Nightdial is still a made up word.
"Neque porro quisquam est, qui dolorem ipsum, quia dolor sit amet, consectetur, adipisci velit."
"There is no one who loves pain itself, who seeks after it and wants to have it, simply because it is pain."

No surprise it is not in dictionary. If that thing really existed (the article has no references), It had to be very inaccurate and not very popular :P
No "Nightdial" on this world tho.

To be honest, Nightdial doesn't make any sense in reality :P

BTW, what are your thoughts on this card ?

IMO, it suggests :time too much to be a mono :darkness
I would take the concept of a Moondial and make a different card that uses :time and :darkness
Such as Sundial does (for the elements not for the effects).

Thought about that. One of my intended plans is to make it delay for 3 turns when played, and give it a  :time activation cost to deal damage (and sacrifice the card).

But somehow I feel it's a bit cheesy, and doesn't give a sense of countdown.

Besides making it mono-darkness creates more synergy with other elements e.g. :air  :fire as well as  :gravity

Anyway, would you have a better idea to bring  :time :darkness together ?
