i say you could make due without the 50 health part but also a little situational, depends on what the opponent has AND you lose all dark pillars/towers would only work in rainbow deck or against a deck that is rainbow or darkness

I don't really see much practical use for this card. If your field is better, you wouldn't want to trade it for your opponent's. If your opponent's field is better, you'll just make it a mirror match, and probably lose due to the health disadvantage.

It may be helpful as a finisher, if your opponent has maybe 25 attack in creatures and 20 health, while you have more than 50. Play this and win. Even that's very situational, and there are better and more versatile cards for the job.

Other than that, it wouldn't really give you any sort of advantage, especially since all creature and permanent skills would be unusable for a turn due to summoning sickness, while the turn after, your opponent has already had a chance to deal with any threats.

Mechanically speaking, I think that it should be  :aether because parallel universes exists in different dimensions. However, this card technically could be :darkness if you want.

Right, but :aether has Twin Universe and Fractal (which drains all :aether)

The health drain is there to avoid abuse at the beginning (unupped deck w/ this against an FG), but if that sounds too high it could probably go to 40-30 or 35-25

This fits Darkness theme of gaining strength from the strength of the enemy very well. Like all very powerful spells it is hard to identify the ideal balance point. I personally like the unorthodox HP cost added to the effect.

The HP cost puts a limit on how late in the game you can wait to use this card. The value of this card is greater mid game but the HP cost makes that increasingly risky. I would really like this for a  :darkness :aether thief deck [Mirror World, Mindgate, Steal, Fractal]

Thalas, that's cool, but I was thinking more of two earths, one w/ shadow. dd thought I meant hemispheres, so I'm sorry if I miscommunicated to everyone. Do you mind if I use one of those as an avatar? I'm getting pretty bored with that life nymph :P

To correct you:
You lose all :darkness Quantas. You sacrifice your towers for your opponents field.

And you do not lose mark, that's not mentioned but I thought it should be pointed out.

It could very well work in dark/aether deck, although it could be changed to steal a certain number of cards. I'm considering that, but that almost seems like a different card (and the fabulous art I've seen wouldn't work!  :o )

i never said anything about losing mark but what i meant in rainbow deck is that you had your rainbow quanta stored up to use the abilities of the creatures, you got lucky and got a darkness opponent so the drakness pillars in your deck wouldnt be as uselss from then on, or your opponent is rainbow (hopefully not pillarless) and has enough pillars to satisfy the rest of your deck,

hope i clarified what i meant

That is a beastly card right there, I love it. As far as having dangerously low HP after use goes, you could throw up a dimensional shield after casting it to protect yourself while you frag your opponent with his own army. ^_^
