ART: - IDEA: the actual idea came from the http://elementscommunity.org/forum/card-ideas-and-art/field-of-emptiness-expanding-emptiness and something what I planned for long. NOTES: Pillars not increase the cap. Everything counts as quanta usage, when your card uses quanta from your pool. Sanctuary does not blocks this. SERIES: False Gods never die.

Thus, I'd suggest changing this to a permanent.
By how much does the cap get reduced? 1?

I don't think I'd often use this;
there are not a lot of decks that require a lot of a single quanta at one time,
while also playing a lot of that element's cards before that time.
Plus the cost is quite high.

does SoSac count as using quanta from your non- pools?

It's alters the cap permanently, not for 3 turns. Just the effect of reducing your cap with quanta use is for 3 turns.

thus, this will require a symbol alike silence/nova/sanctuary
which all last a limited time (or are a permanent).

This is not comparable to cats, antimatter, or fractal:
cats and fractal do not counter the opponent's strategy, they are based on your own.
antimatter does counter the opponent's strategy, but it counters a wide variety of strategies.

this is more comparable to flooding, which basically counters creature spams.

Interesting idea, but as stated before it is really expensive considering the effect and that it only lasts 3 turns. perhaps make it like a neurotoxin for your quanta pools, each card that is played reduces the cap for quanta pool used by 5 (or some other value). Glad that my idea inspired you.

Actually, I fear that it'll become a cruel FG grinder card (as like every FG plays 1-2 pillar per turn, so will be locked up too easily).
