its like PU, but you cant buff it or anything, handy but easy to destroy. the creature would gain a Passive ability 'Mirage' causing it to return to the deck if targeted.

Nice card. But I think the Spell should return only 2-3 times so  :water decks cant deck out enemies.

And the wording. It should be changed from:

"Make an exact copy of target creature. If it is targeted it is destroyed and Mirage is placed on top of your deck."

To

"Make an exact copy of target creature. If Targeted creatureis destroyed, Mirage is placed on top of your deck.

No, it doesn't work like that, if understand it correctly. If you target with anything the mirage creature, mirage creature is destroyed and mirage is placed on top of your deck.

By the way have you got an art LD?

yeah the Mirage creature is targeted, not destroyed. You can kill a Mirage creature by flooding or fireshield.

Anything else will make it go *poof*. I did think about the deckout prevention, maybe it should be to the hand, and if the hand is full that is another way to kill it.

I did think it was a nice Water card, or maybe light, a limited PU, the deckout prevention I thought was a nice side effect.

I considered making it so you cant use a Mirage's active ability either. There are some options, but I thought this worked well.
As a pure creature, it might be Water, and a Light active ability to gain a target creature's AP|HP, but I like it better as a card, with Crusader and Eternity and such, I think preventing deckout could spread to a few other elements, but this is more meant to be a weak twin universe :)

Its a bit OP cuz once u use Mirage on a opponent's creature u get to destroy it and u get that creature on ur field. and then mirage is on top of ur deck which u can draw it everytime if u use it every turn

I think you misunderstand, so example time :)

P1  :water

P2  :earth

:water ok, so P1 wins the toss, and plays some cards,
  :earth P2 does the same,

5 turns
:earth P2 plays a Lava Golem and beefs it up.

3 or 4 turns ...
:water P1 uses Mirage on beefy Lava Golem.
P1 has a Lava Golem with the passive ability Mirage and P2 still has his original. Play goes on for a few more turns.
:earth  P2 then targets the Mirage with a firebolt and it is destroyed and a copy of the spell Mirage goes onto your deck.

If you kill the original, it doesnt do anything to the Mirage and vice versa. If possible, Mirage (ability) is not visible to opponents, so they wont know what to target and spend weak spells on.

You understand better? It is weaker than the spell Twin Universe, that does pretty much the same thing. You cant copy a creatire and give it adrenaline, or use this for Pegasi Blitz or anything. It makes a 'illusionary copy' that is detroyed 'at the slightest touch'.

dig?

Since this game doesn't have a graveyard mechanic to get mirage back out of post-resolving it might be better formatted as a creature with 0|0 stats. Have the ability read something like "When Mirage comes into play it becomes a copy of another target creature with "when this creature is targeted put Mirage back on top of your library." or something similar.

you dont need graveyard. you have a death trigger and a passive ability. I dont understand? Its not even a death event, its when the copied creature is targeted. the mirage spell is destroyed, but you can spawn cards, like mitosis and FFQ etc, so spawning a spell to your deck should be simple. Am I misreading you or did I explain something wrong? your statement just doesnt make sense, but that is because of the way Im looking art the mechanic of the game, can you elaborate?

Edit: NVM, gave this some thought and rewind + anything that generates copies (like FFQ) creates the same issue.
