Yea, it's a 1/1, but it's got lifelink, and it's got the potential to be a 4/1 for five.  And the upgrade has the potential to be an 8/1.  (Think of bloodlust like a mix of vulture and adrenaline).  Brutal when combined with fire or death, or other kill intensive elements, and it destroys spam decks, meaning FFQs and Aflotoxin are toast, but it has it's weakness against elements like earth and  aether, where the creatures are tough/impossible to kill.  Plus Bloodlust fits with the whole vampire theme.

Whaddaya think?


EDIT:  Gotta fix the pictures, gonna change the minor vampires cost to the cost of the current minor vampire.  3 I think?

I'd rather play Adrenaline and be done with it.

Either a permanent boost with those thingies... what either. Don't cut stats, this thing is so brittle no one in his right mind would use it.

Nice idea I think it could work well.

I would concur on the cost lowering to 3 for the minor Vampire.

Also being a 1/1 they are a little too easy to kill (even current vamipres suffer from that problem) but all said well done and a good idea.

The real concept here was adding Bloodlust to vampire type cards...

Yeah i would do that at least, in some way even bringing the attack up by one would be of use.

To me the Minor Vampire could be 1/2 and the Vampire maybe 2/3 just as a start but still unsure

Yeah a Scavenger Cap would proably be better and would help in the long run.

Even if you used the Devour engine to simulate +1/0 then the Vampires would be of incredible use as they got stronger.

I guess it is like scavenger, but it's also got lifelink, and it grants that ability to another card of another element, meaning fire dark decks can use it.

Do you think I should raise the cap to make them better?  I don't want to overpower the cards...

I think you could not move the stats from the original version at all and make deaths trigger one more attack with a cap of 4 additional ones.
