There are two reasons why this is in :gravity:
1: Its thematic (note the word force)
2: :gravity has more cards that only need to be played once than most elements.

Which cards (besides Chimera) are the ones that only need to be played once?

Because yes, you could go with only one Catapult, Titan or shield, but then you are quite exposed to PC

And for creatures and spells I can't think of any that fits the bill
(Talking about :gravity only)

Multiple Catapults can be played on the field no? I mean you can kill multiple scarabs and deal more damage right? so catapult is out of the picture.

Also your right it does make you very much exposed to PC. And if said PC is used then you would be out at the disadvantage. And if you were to say, reach the bottom or your deck where the "useless" cards are, that would be another disadvantage

Why not just catapult Amargios? Easier, faster and mono

Exactly. Though I am far from being a veteran player, I can hardly (if at all) think of any decks I have seen that could safely use this card - except for some kind of suicidal decks someone mentioned in chat a while ago...

The Pharaoh Deck + Catapult and besides scarabs were just and example of using a catapult multiple times.

I know that SoW targets immortal, but the point of the card is that it targets immortal creatures - That's how it benefits the player more in an aether deck, which is the point of shards.
I don't think the point of this card is that it targets immortal, enchanted or sanctuary'd creatures/permanents/players. That sounds tacked on.

As for the card, I would recommend a cost reduction or even a :chroma cost, to improve how easy it is to slot into a deck.

I could name quite a few uses for this card if it was a chroma cost, actually.

To all: I said more cards that need to be used once than other elements. Not "all gravity cards are used once". And you don't need to use it instantly, you can have 2 cards for safety and then play the card. It's made so that you can increase the draw chance of a card without it clogging your draw.

To Frozengaia: Maybe something like Flying Weapon | Animate Weapon? Oh, and I only let it target immaterial because you can only do your own creatures.
hmmm... actually, now that I think about it, Immaterial usually does get in the way of stuff like this...
