No, since Adrenaline works with effects that happen at the end of your turn, not the end of the opponent's turn.

I would use the upped more than the unupped.
Paying 1 extra quanta so this card can double up as an attacker, which saves deck space, is a decent enough upgrade for me.

Hmm... reminds me of a card idea I had that reduces the opponents "maximum" hand size by 1 (so they would have to discard if they had 7 or more cards instead of 8 or more).

Seems low key and balanced... Wish it could stack somehow, but that would be tricky mechanics wise.

I wanted to promote use of multiples by making it really weak.

Would it still be used if it had 0 health?

If it had 0 health, I think it would need an ATK boost to stay useful. Given EtG's meta, that is practically a forced nightfall / eclipse combo.
Buff spells would, of course, be an alternative, but then each of these becomes an individual 2 card combo. I don't really see them as worth that at their current power level.
