Well, while there would certainly be a thematic difference I suppose it wouldn't warrant such a suggested potential unbalance.

I'll reword Time Slip such that cards that pass the card limit are unaffected. Thank you for the input. I want to make Time Slip as feasible as possible such that one could already imagine it in game.

I think it is still way too strong when played on yourself. When targeting a creature card, it is cheaper than fractal and gives you only 1 card less. When played on a time tower/pendulum, it immediately pays for itself and gives you up to 7 free towers - which you can use to cast it again if you draw another one. Maybe you will use it on thunderbolt. Maybe you will use it on deflagration. maybe you will use it on basilisk blood. having 6 of any card only requires 1 card and effectively 0 quanta once you have 7 free time towers.

It only imitates Fractal if you've only drawn one of those creatures and fill up your hand with whatever is left over.  Does not create more copies though.

But yes, there is a slight issue in terms of Pillar targeting, on both sides of the field at that.

Constructive use:
Targeting a Tower with Time Slip is akin to using Fractal on a Gnome Gemfinder.
Targeting a non pillar with Time Slip is akin to using Fractal on that card but not being able to do so again.

Destructive use:
Opponent draws until their hand is full.

Constructive use:
Targeting a Tower with Time Slip is akin to using Fractal on a Gnome Gemfinder.
Important differences:
Gnome Gemfinder generates  :earth which cannot be used to power fractal.
Upped towers/pendulums generate double the quanta of a gnome gemfinder on the turn they are played.
The best mass destruction against towers/pendulums is earthquake which destroys 3. You can draw up to 7 towers/pendulums, so earthquake is not an effective counter by itself.
There are many effective counters for 8 gnome gemfinders: Plague, retrovirus, otyugh, Rain of Fire, and others that are more marginal.

I did not consider Time Towers. Good catch.
The enters play quanta from Towers is offsetting the attack of the Gemfinders. Important but not a great difference.
PC vs CC is an important difference.

The pillar issue is a puzzle.  I suppose you could make it target creatures only.   Another possibility would be to make it search for a card and draw a specific number of copies, say 2.

Another important consideration is what do you do with the deck after playing this card.  I assume the deck is reshuffled?

If so this could be combined with Reverse Time.  Reverse Time on an opponent's card, and then play this to force him to draw cards, and then reshuffle the deck.

What would happen if you target a card that is not in the deck?  Would it still reshuffle the deck?

I'm surprised no one brought this up yet...
This card will be a terror when combo'd with SoR but the high cost helps at least...

Poison dials decks will become very annoying with this... Right now statistics limits their average rate of poison dispersal moderately well. It also helps mitigate chaining of the dials. With these that will no longer be an obstacle.

Same goes for Dim. Shield.

Shard of Integrity will be very, very ugly with this as well.

Its a fun concept, but I think there needs to be some kind of cap or limit on the number of cards that can be drawn.

It is apparent that the card needs some reworking and despite the fact that I would really rather leave the theme of Time Slip as is, if at least with an increase in cost, I'll make 2 versions and see which gets more votes.

EDIT: Poll up, please vote. The first version is a more restricted version of the original card, allowing only 2 copies of target card to be drawn from the deck. The second version is a slightly inverted take on the original Time Slip not allowing for card drawing, but allowing a player to be able to play whichever card at a whim, at the cost of delaying all of his/her creatures.

With the 2 card limit I think it should be just fine, so version 1 is good IMHO
