What I mean, is that Mighy Phoenix is not very different from a simple Phoenix with just a bit more resilience (couse you have to do to it 7 damage instead of 4 to turn it to a Baby Phoenix).

I don't think that a +4 resilience is worth the 5 quantums overprice (even if we add the possible overkill wasted)...

For that I think that Mighty Phoenix has to cost less, like 12, otherwise I think ppl will use only the unupgraded version.

Djinn to are a bit underpowered...

Their cost and ability cost are too high for a card that works ONLY with another specific card, that isn't even of their element...

I think you have 4 ways to make them good:

1) Lowering both their price and ability price. (something like cost 5 and ability cost 2/1 for upgr. version)

2) Making their skill work with ALL fire creatures.

3) Making their increment on phoenix permanent (and not just for one turn).

4) Giving them a lot better stats

That couse they are expansive, have not all that good stats, and their ability is very expansive...
To play with them you will need A LOT of Wind Pillars, and who will put about 10-11 wind pillars and 3-4 djins (so 15 cards) only to have a +2|0?

As they are, I'm not even sure they are worth in a phoenix specific deck, and they are no worth for sure in any other deck.

OK so the Djinn needs some work too and that is fine.

The original idea was that they affect all fire creatures and I think that is a good idea, that was why the cost is so high.

The Djinn also stacks so if you had 3 in play all your Phoenix would get +6 each, if you made Djinn for all Fire well you could have a lot of asheaters out there all with +6 remembering on the next turn you can do it again making them +12 for one turn. So not a bad effect.

Thanks for the good tips.

A different idea: You could make Phoenix start small and more expensive than similar cards and when it dies it becomes stronger. You would have to kill it of yourself with poison, devour or something but it has some interesting possibilities.

You could call it something else - maybe a Spectre or Zombie - and do it for a different element - Death, say. Wow, that's nice! Say, Scyther, you can do that for your next Mighty Synergy Series: Death!

hehe, doesn't matter. The fun part of such a card is that spells like Freeze also becomes better.

Edit: Basilisk Blood would be so annoying if you where trying to kill it.

The phoenix is a deceptively versatile card for a mono  :fire deck.  Not only do you have the Immolation angle but it's a bit like a bone yard but instead of a 1/1 creature, you get something decent.  Moreover, the Fire shield you're using will inevitably get stolen, but don't worry--you have phoenix so they keep dishing out the hurt even after dying!

The only question now is how many phoenices (phoenixes?) are too many...
