How about:
Make it 10/0 and 12/0 and say this:
Meteor comes into play delayed. When meteor is killed, deal damage equal to it's attack to your opponent.

I suggest changing it to Meteorite / Meteor as unupgraded and upgraded, respectively.

According to this helpful answer here:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_difference_between_meteor_and_meteorite (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_difference_between_meteor_and_meteorite)

A meteor is a piece of iron or rock that is falling through the earth's atmosphere from space. It is called a meteorite when it lands on the earth's surface. A meteor is much bigger in size than a meteorite as much of the meteor burns off in the earth's atmosphere, creating the visible "shooting star" in the sky. Meteorites are different sizes and shapes. The largest meteorite ever discovered was in 1920 in South Africa. It weighed about 50 tons.

I love going on sidetracks. ;D
Then it could be this way:
Meteor: 10/3 creature who lasts 3 turns
Meteorite: 5/0 creature who can hit opponents or creatures after sacrifice itself (cheaper than meteor)

EDIT:  fractal meteorite and you have a nice meteorites rain (and even you can ask a wish)  :P

But Photons are alive? And how can something made of metal be Immaterial, since it's 100% material? I think that making it Immaterial would go against the purpose of the element of Gravity.
Well, go back to my second idea, have it absorb  :gravity :gravity :fire :fire each turn. That way, if you want to buff it, you still end up paying for it.

No, space (galaxies and celestial bodies) is :gravity

Space (dimensions and coordinates) is :aether. There's a difference :P

No wonder it can't be immortal.
Saying a gravity creature can't be immortal is like saying a spark can't be buffed.

Someone said this on page two:  Give it both momentum and immaterial.  Yes, I know it is a rock (quite material), but then again flying creatures die in a flood..  Other than the logic imperfection, it would be fine and not UP or OP.
