SERIES:
Its like crazy dadaism for Elements. Mercurial means something like erratic for those not in the know. Too lazy to do art so if the card interests you and you're an artist than I love you.

Feels too situational for me.  I don't know Elements too well, but is it just about only Devourers and Black Hole that take your quanta?

And nymphs. Those are the only 3 cards that take your quanta as of right now.

I don't think situational is bad, reflective shield and purify are both situational.

Yeah but I think those cards are all ready hardly used.  Either way though, I'm generally for anything that doesn't break the game :)

two questions here.
1) does this work only on your quanta
2) why is it a shield, why not just a permanent
3)oooh i get it it a shield for your quanta, but aren't shields meant for health?

1. Yes. If it took their quanta along with yours they'd never get to play anything.
2/3. That brings up a valid question. What is quanta?

Add Discord to the list of cards that effect quanta. We're up to 4 cards in 3 Elements that this card does something against.

my 3rd hour teacher would give you a lecture for answering a question with a question i dont know how to answer but still doesnt answer the original question (yes i did make that confusing on purpose) please be more specific

EDIT: thought of idea to keep it a shield, make it block x damage (x= quanta absorbed/10)

Quanta is the plural form of quantum.  Assuming we're talking about physics its radiation.

Both for mechanical and flavor reasons. Flavor wise it works in the same sense dusk mantle does, only instead of concealing your physical body you're concealing your non-physical body(or radiation, I guess).

Mechanically it being a non-shield could be really confusing. It'd also never be able to protect the quanta generated by your mark which goes against what I wanted it to do both mechanically and flavor wise.
