In my noobish experience, I would say that the card is a little too specific in nature and would only be kinda worth it in certain situations. Less so considering the cost and the fact it is a single action card. Perhaps you could alter it to be similar to Flood.

By that I mean make it say something like "Creatures in the middle row of both sides of the field can only be frozen for a maximum of one turn". and have it cost like 2-3 fire electum per turn. at least then it will have a more widespread effect...although still specialized...

There's not that much creatures that have more than 5hp Armagio, Elite Queen, some dragons. I'm sure there's more but I don't think there's that much.

The anti-Arctic Squid? Still kind of specific.

However, my main concern is the name. Obviously one would relate melting down to the word meltdown, however the word meltdown has much more to do with nuclear reactors and their lack of stability, alluding to more of an Entropy card, especially since meltdowns release radiation and "mutate". Perhaps a name change could be in store for this card? I don't know. Maybe Melt? or Melting? But Meltdown refers by definition to something very different to what I think it is you are thinking.

EDIT: Haha, couldn't resist creating a Meltdown card of my own, different concept however, if you have an issue with me using the name, please inform me and I will try to find a suiting name which is not already used.

however remeber that the olny thing in red decks with over 5 hp are the golems after growing unless you bless something so it will be useless in a red only deck
