I would make the unupgraded cost 5 :earth and the upgraded 3 :earth, seeing as 25% would make it slightly worse than procrastination, however i would remove the quantum cost for freeing creatures as this is unnecessary and to be honest not a very fun mechanic.

Slightly worse or slightly stronger is what I was hoping for. I'll change it to 25% percent and if needed, adjust quanta losing amounts for both cards.

It may seem like a boring mechanic Fewk, but it is one that perhaps some may like.

I appreciate your opinion, and I will be changing it to 25%.

I'm totally forgetting what I said about 2 people lol, I think this has been enough.

I still don't like how this card is, it's stronger than Procrastination (in the sense that it reduces more damage) and it's cheaper >_<  Also, if requiring 1 quanta to release your creature from the time bubble is logical in the sense that you require resources to escape the Labyrinth.  Then why not make it put the creature in a time bubble for a random amount of time, as not all creatures will make it out in 1 day.  Also, if a creature has momentum, then it'd smash holes into the walls making a safe pathway through.  Therefore rendering the Labyrinth useless and then it should be destroyed.  This card would be the bane of Army Decks.  Why not make it have a 80% chance to put attacking creatures into time bubbles?  Or give it a low chance of catching the creatures, but once they're caught they're caught for good.  Logic behind this?  Once lost, you're lost for good, cause that's what a Labyrinth is designed for; to keep its adventurous wanderers eternally caged within its walls.

Now it seems pretty fair, its  damage reduction is equal to that of procrastination, however creatures can use their abilities more often as they will only be stuck half as often as with procrastination, the added quanta loss is only really significant if the enemy has a full field

rakazy8564, I will keep your comment in mind. And it isn't that I don't believe you, but if you could provide me some correct calculations proving that this is indeed stronger than Procrastination, I will do what is needed to lower its power. It is meant to be a cheap :earth shield, that is obviously not stronger than a mighty 6 :time Procrastination.

@Fewk, I'm glad you enjoyed the changes. Once again, if calculations can be provided for this card, it will greatly help the understanding of balance. I will work on it too, but am currently a little hand-tied. :)

Ive calculated a little bit and according to my calculations 25% damage is stopped the first turn, followed by an average of 47% each subsequent turn. Same applies for creatures that have been newly played while the shield is active.

Procrastination however mitigates 0% the first turn and 50% each following turn

It is somewhat weaker than procrastination as its lower chance of getting stuck allows creatures to use their abilities more often

I suggest you increase the cost to 4 :earth for both

I will increase the playing cost to 4 :earth if none of the following other options are accepted or sound reasonable:

    A playing cost of 2 :earth for both but an upkeep cost of 1 :earth per turnA permanent, not a shield, playing cost of 2: earth and has the same effect for both players, upkeep of 1 :earth

Since weapons can not be placed in a time bubble, how do you plan on the mechanics for weapons?

Why would I worry about weapons? There is only one weapon slot (thus far) for a reason. The weapons normally strike through shield effects aside from damage reduction.
Your weapon slot Vampire Dagger doesn't get frozen hitting a Permafrost Shield, and in the same manner a weapon attacking this shield when not flown will not be delayed.
