This seems pretty OP to me. Particularly because it can stack to 3. That would be a potential -6 | -6 to ALL enemy creatures for the rest of the game with the upped version. It essentially wipes out their ability to use just about anything short of a dragon (and even most of those are gone come to think of it) for the rest of the game. Since PC is not currently accessible enough to all elements this could cripple entire elements right now. (time, water, light, death, air, and especially life would be flattened due to lack of counters). This is just way too powerful in my opinion.

Take away the stacking (like nightfall and eclipse) though and I think it would be just fine.
To keep the stackability, you could maybe add a small damage to owner every round and have only that stack. Just my 2  :electrum there

On a positive note, the theme is pretty cool and I really love the artwork.

Definitely will help since it can no longer kill things outright. I still have issue with stacking, mainly because nightfall and eclipse and most similar cards so far cant stack. Also, nightfall / eclipse effect everyone's cards not just one players. Giving a prevalent buff / debuff to only one player's creatures is going to be tricky to balance. Not that it cant be done, but you will have to take in a lot of different interactions here. Also, this card effects ALL creature types whereas nightfall / eclipse are specific which limits their impact.

I do like the idea of a card that sticks to your enemy and lowers their abilities though. And I think this card does have a lot of potential.
It will probably take a lot of work to make it balanced though.
See if you can get ahold of OldTrees, he's usually pretty good at thinking of all the different aspects that something like this will affect and may be able to give you some good advice on getting it balanced.

This is literally one of the least intelligent posts I've seen in a while. Saying an upgraded card can be OP just because you need to upgrade it. If you're on that route, why not make a card that deals 200 damage, costs 0 quanta, but you need to pay 1,000,000 electrum to buy it first? It still would be overpowered and unbalanced. Even if we're talking about the unupped, 3 :darkness to lower all your opponent's creatures' stats by 1 is overpowered. Even if you make it capped at 2, it is still very powerful, because each one is acting like a shield, and it's effectively letting you stack 1dr and 2dr shields.

More importantly, compare this with shield and tower shield. Shield costs 1 quanta, and reduces 1 damage per source. This costs 3 :darkness and either lowers all sources damage either up to -2 or -4. For 6 :darkness, you get a basically 4 damage reduction shield. Even more powerful than titanium shield at the same cost. It also lowers each opposing creature's health by up to 4. Way too OP.

My suggestions:
Raise cost of both but make upped version slightly cheaper (maybe 8 and 6)
Make debuff be -1 | -1 for both.

One thing I do like is that this is one of the few permanents that can't be countered by steal.
