how about protect artifact that is much more versatile, much better in protecting pillars and much cheaper?

Well, I think the point is you may turn a nonwater pillar into a water mark.

But it's still underpowered.

No offense but this is the most underpowered card I have ever seen on this forum. Period.

High cost, almost useless effect.

Changing a Pillar to a mark has only one advantage - mark is indestructible. Why would anyone use this card when they can simply take Protect Artifact and protect all their Pillars? EDIT: seems like this was already pointed out

And like with other ideas.. I don't like when that image is used as a spell. Doesn't look anything like a spell, and looks exactly like a permanent.

I kinda like the idea, but it's way overpriced. Make it cost like Lucifer(in|ase) and it makes a bit more sense.
Though even then it's probably a bit on the weak side...
