I agree that this card is pretty overpowered.  I could see it working slightly better as a spell -- but then purify would be more useful, in my opinion. 

I do think there should be a sort of purify for creatures, though; especially with the new version of the Carapace shield coming out.

I agree 5 is a tiny bit much, but I don't see why poison users have to win :)
there are certain cards that completely destroy certain decks. this may be it for poison users... maaybe.
Yeah, make like 500 cards against poison. Why wouldn't purify be enough?
It's enough. I'd prefer purify & shard to this fountain.

Purify is the one card that will never, ever see the light of day in a tournament. Ever. Unless the tournament has the rule, "You must use poison as your primary source of damage," Purify is the most situational card in the game that can't be used effectively, if at all, because the player using the poison deck will change to another deck 99% of the time, rendering Purify useless. Because everyone knows this, neither player will plan for a poison deck to be used in the following game, so neither player will even think about considering Purify.

The reason a card like this is overpowered is because it does something in addition to removing poison. Because of this, it has many more uses, so it would be used in many more decks sporting water, further decreasing the existence of poison-based decks. If the existence of a single card completely removes the possibility of a deck type, it is overpowered. This is one of those cards.

If I remove the healing, this card becomes as situational as Purify. If I don't, it's overpowered. What do I do?

For now I'll decrease the healing and poison removal of the unupped version to 2. The upped version still cannot heal but it removes 3 poison from you or a creature. How does this sound?

I think if you try to visualize what you could potentially do during a single turn with one, three, or all six out, you can balance it pretty easily. What I would do is change both versions to 2 health and removing 1 poison from yourself, or removing 1 poison from a creature. The cost or ability could be cheaper for the upped version. (e.g. 2 :water for unupped ability, 1 :water for upped)

So, if you're poisoned remove 1 poison, if you're not then heal for 2?

You want a 1-poison removal or 2-heal to cost :water :water? Isn't it a bit too much?

wat if maybe its just a card that everyturn takes one poison away. like a pillar permanent which can be destroyed or stolen. Then it could slowly heal you jus like the poison slowly kills you wud that balance it out any. just throwing some suggestions out there

Would this be overpowered if it heals you for 3 if you're not poisoned, but removes 1 poison with no healing if you are poisoned? This could be like a non-rare version of Shard of Gratitude. And Water needs more healing, because for a restorative element, Water doesn't have any healing right now.
