nice card but i think this idea is backwards. unuped should affect everyone and uped only you. as it is now i'd never upgade it. why you might ask because when it affects only me i have the quanta adavantage.

unless you ment it generates quanta for you for "every" spell cast on the uped one. but even still i'd never upgrade it as i'd never know what my opponent would be playing.

You gain quanta for every card played when upgraded including your opponent's cards.

I think the main issue with this card is what happens if you have multiples of this in play. Think about a Graboidbow with these instead of Quantum Pillars. You play a couple of these and every time you spring out a card you're ready to pay for the next. Three novas and three lotus may power the whole deck.

That's assuming you draw them all. And if you drew 3 novas and 3 towers that'd power the deck pretty well too, plus offer the chance to still get cards out if you didn't draw enough novas early.
This card is much more rewarding in Monos. 3-4 Lotus out and you could play your entire hand of medium cost cards.
Lotus + Fractal is pretty win too.
