This is a card in the making, and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
A great collaboration between EmeraldTiger, AMC1445, and me.
The shield is still being designed, so please bear that in mind.

they both look good so it is not easy to choose.

if this is actually a card in progress, i would go with the aether shield, have it cost 6, and don't have the  "absorb 2 if successfully.

Life does already have two shields.  Also, its too risky as it is for me to use.

The  / version because aether already haves a powerful shield.

yes  shield  is strong but there is only 1 shield, while  has 2. this is somewhat of a hybrid card. i was just thinking if the shield attempts to do a copy and there is not enough quanta it is destroyed.

We are open to other suggestions of what this could do.

make it aether to give aether another shield and have it cost maybe 5 for both and give the upped a 1 damage reduction or a decrease in absorb cost.

I like it, its basically PU on a stick, but its a soft stick because of the % chance so its more like PU on a foam bat.

Having it be an card makes more sense thematically, since it's like a mirror that copies what it envisions, but requires to animate the copy. A cost of 7 to sync it up to Parallel Universe.

How does this wording sound?

Shield: reduce damage by 1. Attacking creatures have a 15% chance to be copied.
Absorb per copy.

I may not be understanding this right, but I think you guys are saying whether it should be a  that absorbs  or vice versa. Why not have the unupped be  and the upped be  ?
and i mean the actual cards, not what they absorb, just for clarification.
