As a poison counter, or in poison counters?

If I have a minor vampire (3 ATK), what happens? What if it's antimattered?

This card needs clarification.

-3 atk = -3 poison to opponent, visa versa for 3 atk

What is -3 poison?

Is that purify, then 3 purify counters?
Or, take 3 poison counters away? If you take 3 away and you have 2, do you get 1 purify or zero?

if you have 2 poison and you use it on a -3 creature, you lose poison status and gain 1 purify.

Right.

After that, I'd say the card could do with a very slight cost reduction to 7 | 6. I think it's just slightly too weak at eight, but I can definitely understand why it's so high; It's certainly a powerful effect.

Good job overall, actually - I like it. The card just needs to be much more clear.

That does make more sense. Though the "dealt to you" in the original is still strange...

No, you/or your opponent gains poison counters = to that creatures atk, even if negative.
