I can't Purify it as well since it is not a Poison. How to counter this?

This one actually seems pretty balanced.  Air already has an abundance of CC, but this card lets you set up some fun bonestorm combos...

Yes, I do know Virus is vulnerable for a turn, but it is much cheaper–and reliable.
Aflatoxin deals the same effect, with a bonus for just a bit of quanta, alongside a shield it could only cost 9 to get your opponent down.
Thunderstorm deals 2 cheap damage to everything, making it spammable (especially when upped) and getting over creatures. We cannot forget RoF.

There is no way to counter Lightning Discharge, RIP.
The damage is dealt at the end of turn before attacking.
